Create and Edit Bookmarks in Google Chrome

Remember your favorite and frequently visited sites with bookmarks in Chrome. Learn how to create, view and edit your bookmarks with the steps below.

Here’s how to create a bookmark:
1. Open Chrome.
2. Go to the site you want to visit in the future.
3. Click the star to the right of the address bar.

Here’s how to view and edit your bookmarks:
1. In Chrome, click More, then Bookmarks.
2. Select Bookmark Manager.
3. To edit a bookmark, select More on the bookmark you want to update, then Edit.
4. Update the bookmark and click Save.
5. To remove a bookmark, select More and then Remove.

Sync Across Devices in Google Chrome

When you turn on sync in Chrome, you can access your bookmarks, history, passwords and other settings across all your devices. All you need is a Google Account.

Here’s how to enable syncing on desktop:
1. Open Chrome.
2. Click the Profile icon in the top right and Turn on sync.
3. Sign into Chrome with your Google Account.
4. Confirm syncing by clicking “Yes, I’m in.”

Here’s how to view your history from another device:
1. In Chrome, select More in the top right, then History.
2. Click History.
3. On the left, click Tabs from other devices.

Here’s how to manage your saved information:
1. In Chrome, click the Profile icon in the top right, then the Passwords or Addresses and more icon.
2. At the bottom of the page, select Add.
3. Enter the correct information, then Save.
